Reseda Police Academy Celebrates its
14th Year!
The Reseda High School Police Academy Magnet Program began in the fall of 1998 and is one of five PAM high schools and two PAM middle schools in the LAUSD. This model career pathway program is a partnership between the LAPD and LAUSD, designed to educate students about law enforcement through a rigid course of study involving intense physical training and compulsory community service. An LAPD Officer is assigned a full-time position at the site to teach, counsel and mentor the students through their police academy experience. Becoming a part of Reseda High School’s Police Academy Magnet is a major decision requiring the dedication of the student first and foremost.
